Rarely am I ahead of the game in *trend*, except during the time I work at Notes & Queries! We operate within a fashion-forward industry and our fantastic publishers always seem to have their finger on the pulse of what is popular and new in greeting cards and paper.

  1. Color of the Year: Ultra-Violet! Pantone announced last month that the color purple will REIGN in 2018, specifically the shade - Ultra Violet , a soft melding of blue and red. Pantone hopes the blue and red, the colors used to designate America's liberal and conservative politics, can become a more harmonious purple. Other Trending Colors: neutral tones, intense color combos, a palette made up of a complimentary blue and orange.
